3-ton tooling point
A hardened point that reduces a drive to unrecognisable scrap.
A bench destroyer that needs no power at all. The PDS-30 punches, breaks and mangles any drive or tape in five seconds with a 3-ton hardened tooling point — and works anywhere there is a bench.
Physical destruction is the second half of a complete sanitisation policy: degauss the data, then make the media physically unrecoverable. The PDS-30 is the affordable way to do that half, and it needs no electricity — which matters in a branch, a store room or a site where a dedicated power point is not available.
A 3-ton hardened tooling point reduces any drive to unrecognisable scrap. It also handles tapes, phones and printed circuit boards, so the same machine covers more than drives — which is why it is often specified alongside a degausser as a compact two-machine cell.

Punch, break and mangle in a single stroke.
Also destroys tapes, phones and printed circuit boards.

The situations this is most often specified for, based on what we are asked to quote most often.
For a complete process, yes. Recognised standards require media to be degaussed before physical destruction, because a fragment of a drive that was never degaussed can still be recovered. The PDS-30 is the physical half of that pair.
It adapts the tooling so solid-state modules and pen drives can be destroyed in the same machine, rather than needing a separate shredder for a small volume.
Yes. It is a manual lever machine designed for single-operator use at a bench, and it needs no power supply, so it can be placed wherever the media is.
