2 Tesla per cycle
The highest sustained field in the Proton degausser range.
Two Tesla, the highest sustained field in the Proton range, and a cycle time under twenty seconds. The T-5 is the machine for bulk decommissioning where the volume is measured in thousands of drives.
The T-5 is the most capable electromagnetic degausser Proton builds. At 2 Tesla — 20,000 Gauss — it clears even the toughest modern media, and it does so in under twenty seconds per drive, so a large refresh programme finishes in days rather than weeks.
It carries the same NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List listing as the T-4, so it satisfies the same tender and policy requirements, but it is the faster and stronger of the two. Where a destruction programme is the critical path in an estate transition, that difference is what decides the outcome.
The digital cycle counter turns the machine into a running total. For an organisation destroying thousands of assets, that counter is the start of a defensible destruction log without a manual tally.

Meets the same defence, PSU and government specifications as the T-4.
A running total that becomes the backbone of your destruction log.

The situations this is most often specified for, based on what we are asked to quote most often.
Both are NSA-listed and both satisfy the same tender requirements. The T-5 is faster and stronger, so it wins on throughput; the T-4 is the better-value choice where volume is moderate and the 12 V battery option matters.
It records the number of completed cycles, which becomes a running total for the destruction register. Combined with an asset tag recorded at the bench, it gives you a per-asset destruction record without a separate counting system.
Yes. The slot operation is designed for the form factors and fixtures found in enterprise hardware, including drives with sleds and brackets still attached.
