Flash, not just disks
The only machine in the range that handles SSDs, phones, USB drives, SIMs and cards.
Magnetic fields do not touch flash. The PDS-88 is the machine that does — shredding SSDs, smartphones, USB drives, SIM and credit cards and optical media from an ordinary office wall outlet.
A degausser is the wrong tool for an SSD, and so is a crusher. Flash memory has no magnetic layer to randomise, and a bent circuit board is not the same as shredded silicon. The PDS-88 cuts and shreds the media itself, which is what makes it defensible under the standards that cover flash.
It is deliberately an office-grade machine. It fits in a copy room, runs from a standard wall outlet, and needs no dedicated secure room or specialist ventilation. That is what makes it practical to deploy alongside a degausser: most Indian organisations end up running a two-machine cell, one for magnetic media and one for everything else.
The only machine in the range that handles SSDs, phones, USB drives, SIMs and cards.
Fits in a copy room from a standard wall outlet — no secure room required.
Supports HIPAA, GLBA, PCI DSS, PIPEDA, NIST SP 800-88 and ISO 27001 policies.
Transparent chute covers and an i-control panel keep the process safe and simple.

The situations this is most often specified for, based on what we are asked to quote most often.
An SSD stores data in flash cells with no magnetic layer. A magnetic pulse does nothing to it, so a SSD has to be physically destroyed — which is what the PDS-88 does.
Remove batteries from phones, tablets, laptops and power banks. Lithium cells are a fire risk inside a shredder, so battery removal is a required step in the operating procedure.
It is designed for an office copy room: it runs from a standard wall outlet, produces a manageable paper-and-plastic waste stream, and has transparent chute covers so operators can see what is going in.
