Research first
Interviews, contextual enquiry and journey analysis before screens.
Design that is validated with users before a line of production code is written.
Most interfaces fail because nobody checked whether the model made sense to the people using it. Research and prototyping are not decoration; they are the cheapest way to find out that a workflow is wrong while changing it is still cheap.
We start with interviews and observation, map the journey, and wireframe the flows at low fidelity. Only when the structure holds do we go to high-fidelity screens and interactive mockups, and test those with users as well.
Interviews, contextual enquiry and journey analysis before screens.
Low-fidelity wireframes validate the flow, not the colour.
Interactive mockups let stakeholders use the real thing.
A component library and design tokens your developers can build from.
| Service | Output |
|---|---|
| UX interviews and behaviour research | Insight notes, personas and pain-point mapping |
| User journey analysis | End-to-end journey maps with friction points |
| Rapid wire-framing | Low-fidelity flows, tested and refined in days |
| High-fidelity UI | Pixel-accurate screens, component libraries and design tokens |
| Interactive mockups | Clickable prototypes for user testing and stakeholder review |
| Branding and design systems | Visual systems, iconography and a reusable component library |
The situations this is most often specified for, based on what we are asked to quote most often.
We can do both, and keeping them together tends to be more efficient — the design system and the components are built to match what the developers will actually implement.
A representative group of real users completing representative tasks, observed, with findings ranked by severity. We report what blocked them and what we changed as a result.
We agree the number in the proposal, but we design in short cycles with review at each stage, so changes usually surface early when they are cheapest to absorb.
