Parking & Boom Barriers

Manual gate management leaks revenue and creates disputes. Quridge supplies and commissions vehicle control and parking automation across India.

Overview

What this gives you

Every barrier that is raised by hand is a barrier that can be raised by the wrong person, and every challenged entry is a dispute. Automating the gate fixes both, and the vehicle record it produces is useful well beyond the barrier.

We specify on the site, the traffic and the enforcement model. ANPR reads the plate and opens the gate against a permit list, so there is no queue and no conversation. RFID tags suit fleets and repeat drivers where the vehicle is known in advance. Photocell and loop detection protect the barrier itself.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

ANPR suits visitors, where the vehicle is not known in advance and the driver should not have to stop. RFID suits fleets and permit holders where the vehicle is registered. Many sites run both, with RFID taking priority for known vehicles.

The barrier stays closed and the event is recorded with the plate image, so a security team can review it. The gate can be released manually from the control room with the event still logged.

Yes, and it normally should. A visitor who is signed in at reception can be granted a parking permit automatically, and the two systems then share a single visitor record.
